Gazprom: Overdue debt for gas in Russia rises 6.6% to 181 bln rbl

MOSCOW, Mar 19 (PRIME) -- The total volume of overdue debt for gas supplies in Russia rose 6.6% to 180.9 billion rubles in 2018, gas giant Gazprom said in a statement late Tuesday.

“In 2018, the company’s supplies to domestic consumers via the gas transport system grew by 5.5% compared to 2017. At the same time, the total volume of overdue debt for gas supplied in Russia in 2018 rose by 11.2 billion rubles (by 6.6%) – from 169.7 billion rubles to 180.9 billion rubles,” the company said.

Heating supplying companies accounted for 33% of the total overdue debt, Gazprom said.
